Book signing and lecture about The Cooking Class in San Sebastián will also include fond memories of my childhood in Vero Beach, Florida. My daily visits to my grandparents next door, Waldo and Elsebeth Sexton, who influenced my life in outlook, cooking and reading. The McKee Jungle Gardens of my childhood was a magical place with princesses and wild animals in an exotic tropical forest. Attendees will get to sample pintxos — Basque food — as featured in the book.
